Lotus
The hemispheric ‘Lotus table’ with a flat top is resplendent in an all-over geometric pattern of pink, red, purple, blue and black. The table echoes the lotus-flower design of the ‘Bloom cabinet’ (2018).
Exhibited with the Florescence suite of three pods that takes its name from the process or period of a plant’s flowering, the Lotus table shares their bloom-like geometric pattern. The luminosity of the straw marquetry mimics a flower’s sequential colour changes during anthesis.
